Awesome Chinese food!! My family and I have been in search of an awesome Chinese restaurant and we accidentally stumbled on this gem! The food is amazing! I just moved to hayward so we Yelped a few places and settled on this place, we loved it so much we ate there twice the first week we moved in.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here, and we and our guests all had a fabulous time. The back room has ample space for eighty guests (8 tables with ten place settings). There's a small dance floor to get your groove on, the food was delicious, the staff friendly and professional, and best of all, the price was totally reasonable. I worked with the manager, Ed, and he was very accommodating and maintained open communication with me from my initial room rental inquiry up until the night of the event. I was able to drop off our bottles of wine the day before the reception (so the whites could be chilled in the fridge), and my friends were allowed to come to the restaurant a few hours early on the wedding day to decorate the tables with centerpieces. The back room also has its own set of restrooms, so our guests didn't have to trudge through the main dining room to get to the default set of restrooms. I'm so glad we decided to have our wedding reception at this restaurant. We saved a lot of money, but still has a wonderful "experience" at Chef's Experience. See what I did there?

Came in with my family (party of 20!) on a Tuesday night for my dad's birthday. Food was excellent and came out promptly. Great customer service from our waiter Kyle. Kyle was super friendly and served our large party with great care. Probably won't order the VIP duck next time around, but everything else was grand.

I think I gave Chef's E a review awhile back and it said that everything is awesome but I just had some pretty shitty customer service so I am changing my review.I have been going there for 6 years now and always order the same thing. I just tried to call in an order and the person that answered said that she was new and didn't know how to order it in their computer system. You don't know how to order Mongolian Beef????She suggested that I try calling tomorrow when someone more experienced was there! lolI asked if maybe she could just ask the kitchen to make it and charge me the price listed on the menu. She said that she would get in trouble with her manager. Maybe she should be more worried about sending paying customers to a competitor.Wow

We have dined here since they opened 7 or 8 years ago and always enjoyed it.When greeted by Eddie, the owner, or our favorite server, Rosie, we feel like we've just joined them for a family meal.I frequent here most often for lunch with my co-workers sharing many dishes. We always start with potstickers that are prepared at the table. Not overly greasy and the best around. Can you say "finger lickin' good?" My go-to dish for lunch is the Basil Chicken and Shrimp, but all dishes are good. The truly standout dish is Peking Duck for dinner. It is prepared in a traditional manner: crispy pieces of duck are served on little soft succulent buns with scallions and hoisin sauce. We've eaten duck in many places, including Beijing, and this is on the same par with places in China that are famous for their duck. But here they also serve a second course of duck meat stir-fried with veggies that is heavenly also.Last week they began serving dim sum and I'm anxious to give it a try.

It's never a good thing when you have to ask for chopsticks at a Chinese restaurant. For Non-Asian peeps seeking Westernized Chinese food, it's way better than Panda Express and better quality than PF Changs. For Asian peeps, the decor and ambiance is a lot better than your greasy hole-in-the-wall Chinatown joint. There's also a full bar here. A cocktail with chow fun is something you can't always find.
